From Season 7 of SeriesFest, writer/producer/director Michele Palermo joins us to discuss her dramedy pilot, Middle of Nowhere.
In addition to Middle of Nowhere (which won the Audience Award for Best Independent Pilot at SeriesFest), our conversation covers her prolific career in TV, including her first TV writing job on Boy Meets World, working in development, and guiding a new generation of screenwriters as a professor at Columbia.
And since our conversation, Michele has gone on to be honored for Middle of Nowhere at the North Fork TV Festival in Greenport, Long Island. And a live, in person premiere is happening in Los Angeles on September 4th as part of the Dances With Films independent film festival.
